Trauma Care Centre
In Hosur, completely with the help of public contribution of Rs.20.00 lakhs, an old dilapidated Leprosy Hospital building which had become the safe haven for anti-social elements, was converted into a modern Hospital, equivalent to any Private Nursing Home. Though the doctors of Hosur wanted had been wanting to convert this building into an IMA centre, as Collector I prevailed upon them as to the utility that it would serve as Trauma Care Centre, because none existed on the NH. On the National Highway this hospital staff would meet any emergency and the emergency GOLDEN HOUR treatment is given to the patient immediately and the precious lives saved. Orthopaedicians and supporting staff from SPARSH hospital were available here 24 X 7. Two ambulances of SPARSH Hospitals were also available here for any emergency. A good samaritan presented the centre with a digital x-ray unit.
This Public Private Partnership between Government and a private entity SPARSH Hospitals Bangalore on trauma care was inaugurated by the Honorable Health Minister of Government of Tamil Nadu. Government Order approving MOU was also issued in G.O.Ms.No. 278 Health and family welfare (Z2) department dated 06-08-2007.
